SUB-ASSOCIATION PROPOSED.

PROVISIONAL COMMITTEE SET UP.

'Representatives of five Taranaki badminton clubs met at the Coronation hall, New Plymouth, last night, and decided to form a Taranaki sub-association, and affiliate with the New Zealand Federation, provided St. Andrew’s Clift) signifies official willingness to support the formation of a provincial body. A bt. Andrew’s representative was present at the meeting, but explained that he had received no authority to commit his cluo, although it was not expected to stand out. Considerable saving, he said, would also be effected on the purchase of sports goods.
