By five matches to one, with one all square, a team of women golfers from Patea defeated an Eltham team at Eltham yesterday.’ Results, with Eltham names mentioned first, are:— : Mrs. L. Quin and Mrs. Taylor • all square with Misses Hurley and Gibson. Mrs. Lambie and Mrs. J. Quin lost to Misses Bourke and Gilligan 3 and 2. Mrs. Stewart and Mrs. McGarry beat Mrs. Glenny and Mrs. Crompton 7 and 5. Mrs. Staiiners and Miss Syme lost to Mrs. Roberts and Miss Crawford.
