DARDANELLES RE-FORTIFICATION
TURKEY NOT PRESSING ITS CLAIM. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 7.10 p.m. Geneva, June 2. Following talk between Sir John Simon, British Foreign Secretary, and the representatives of Turkey, Bulgaria and Greece, the question of the refortification of the Dardanelles has been withdrawn from the League of Nations Council. It is understood Turkey has abandoned its claim or, at any rate, is not pressing it.
