GOLD COVERAGE SHRINKS
GERMANY’S LOSS OF GOLD.
FURTHER DRAINAGE FEARED.

The gold coverage for the Reichsbank’s note issue has dropped to the record low livel of 3.7 per cent The gold foreign currency reserves are naw only 135,800,000 marks. The loss of gold is attributed to payments for Germany’s imports, and a further loss is anticipated for transfer purposes.
