The Los Angeles representative of the United Press states that the reconciliation between Mary Pickford and her husband Douglas Fairbanks, rumoured for months, appeared more unlikely than ever to-day, when Mary Pickford pressed action on her pending divorce complaint. She wants a court order permitting her to serve notice on Fairbanks of her divorce action by publication. She submitted an affidavit that he left California on May 23, 1933, and had not returned. <
