EAST END DANCE
AN OUTSTANDING SUCCESS. That the East End Beach social committee is providing a standard of entertainment much desired by the large majority of dancers was again plainly demonstrated last Saturday night, when the capacity of the pavilion was fully taxed. Monte Carlo prizes were won by Miss Aimes and Mr. Wallace, while Miss Holmes and Mr. Karena were successful in a lucky spot Maxina. The latest in novelty items will be a feature of the long-night carnival to be held in the pavilion to-night. The 'best prizes will be for Monte Carlo, balloon dance, Cinderella and mystery waltzes. New attractions wil also be provided by the Royal Maori String. Band, which has been engaged for the occasion. Further particulars will be found in the advertising columns.
