COUPLE RECONCILED.
A TANGIBLE REWARD. New York, May 19. Mr. George Hopkins, a New York attorney, gained 56,000 dollars by acting in the capacity of Cupid and bringing together Mr. Frank _ Doelger, a millionaire brewer, and his wife, who had been estranged for a long time. Mr. Doelger was so pleased to have his wife back that he gave her a parcel of brewery shares and Mr. Hopkins collected 10 per cent, of their value.
