TRAGEDY IN MELBOURNE
GHASTLY DISCOVERY IN HOUSE. MURDER AND SUICIDE SUPPOSED. » By Telegraph—Press Assn.—-Copyright, Melbourne, May 31. In a house which has been closed and silent for two days a whole family was found dead with their throats slashed. The police believe that poverty drove the father to murder his wife and three children and then commit suicide. The victims were Frank O’Brien, aged about 50, Mrs. O’Brien, aged about 40, Owen, aged three, Joan, aged two, and Norah, aged -nine months.
