CUSTOMS RETURNS FOR MAY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, June 1. The net customs returns at the Port of Wellington for May show an increase of £38,505 over those of May last year. The details are as follows, the returns for May, 1933, being given in parentheses: Customs duty, £196,056 (£157,551); beer excise, £5266 (£4661); sales tax, £56,807 (£37,806); motor spirit duty, £40,786 (£62,035); tyre tax, £lBO7 £2470); sales tax, £56,807 (£37,806).
