TWO YEARS TO COMPLETE
NEW MACHINERY AT ARAPUNI. DELAYED DELIVERY EXPECTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, June 1. Commenting on the decision to mstal new machinery at Arapuni, Mr. F. T. Kissel, chief electrical engineer for the Public Works Department, said that pipe lines and headworks were already installed. He estimated that it would take about two years to complete the work authorised. The greater part of the time would be taken up by the delivery of machinery which would have to be manufactured overseas. Probably about 100 men would be engaged on the work.
