HOUSING THE UNEMPLOYED
SCHEME IN NEW SOUTH WALES. STATE CABINETS AGREEMENT. By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright. Sydney, May 30. The State Cabinet has agreed to a comprehensive scheme for housing unemployed families throughout the State., It is proposed to erect weatherboard houses of an inexpensive type in suitable districts. As a preliminary grant the Government has allocated £200,000 to the scheme.
