Although in the Dominion the first of the Anzac Day commemorative services takes place in the middle of the morning, in Sydney the first is held before dawn, at the exact time that the first soldiers of the Australian Imperial Force set foot on Anzac Cove, that was at 4.30 on-Sun-day, April 25. It was at that time that the Australians landed at Ari Burnu, the north tor Of Anzac Cove. At that hour each year a solmn commemorative service is held before the Cenotaph in Martin Place, Sydney. It is attended by the State Governor and by many Australian soldiers and the public, and has been described as the most deeply impressive Anzac Day ceremony held anywhere. Magyar style nightdresses in well printed win'ceyette at 3/11 is a strong feature just now at Scanlan’s Melbourne Comer. They are full-fitted and wonderful value. Who would be bothered making up the material when the finished garment can be bought so cheaply.*
