GERMAN CURRENCY POLICY
FIGHT IN CHURCH DEPLORED “SAVED FROM BOLSHEVIKS” GOEBBELS GIVES WARNING By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10.35 p.m. Berlin, April 27. Dr. Goebbels, speaking at a mass demonstration at Dusseldorf, said the Government would never allow inflation in Germany again, but would keep the cur—rency stable. Referring to the Catholic Church, he said: “These lusty gentlemen need not think they can escape our eagle eye by assuming the deceitful mask of hypocritical piety. We know them. The nation also does not sympathise with fights occurring within the Protestant Church. It would be better if churchmen felt deep gratitude that national Socialism has saved the Church from the assaults of-Godless Bolsheviks.” Dr. Goebbels also thundered a warning to profiteers and price-raisers.
