LEGITIMACY OF CHILDREN
QUESTION OF HEARING EVIDENCE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. In giving judgment on a nullity action in connection with which an appeal Was heard by it last month the Court- of Appeal to-day held that the well-known rule in Russell v. Russell, which forbids a husband or wife to give evidence which may tend to make illegitimate the issue of'the marriage was applicable to the nullity suit in question and was not confined in its operation to divorce suits.
