MANUTAHI CRICKET DANCE
GENERAL AND PERSONAL NEWS. ’J?he first annual dance held by the Msnutahi Cricket Club on Wednesday evening successfully ushered in the dancing; season* when there was an excellent attendance at the halt A feature of the evening Was the support accorded by other clubs in the Goodwin Cup competition. The hall Was decorated with black streamers and Wills’ MelbdymakCrs provided the music. Extras Were played by Meters W. Ray and Owen Priee. The winner bf a competition, was Mr. J. h. Couch, the master Of Ceremonies and sectary ot the club* Novelty dances were held, the winners of the Monte Carlo waltz being Mrs. Harold Wills and Mr. D. Hunt. Mr. and Mrs. W. Barclay visited Wellington at Easter. Miss E. Lander visited Mokoia for Easter. Miss M. Calver arid Mr. and Mrs. Jillett spent Easter at Wanganui. Mr., and Mrs. C. Barclay visits Fielding during th* holiday*.
