Fire following an explosion of petrol vapours caused severe burns! tb the fafce and body of ttobeft Adams, aged 52, Rintoul Street. He vtas taken to hospital unconscious and id a very seridtis condition. He succumbed to his injuries to-day. . ' . Adarnk was apparently tfeating tarpaulins with petrol in the AVashhduse wheii flames from the fire under the copper exploded the vapour, setting fife to Adam’s clothing and the washhouse. The next door neighbour rushed in immediately and with the help of another man dragged Adams ffofn the blazing building.
