PLAY-READING CIRCLE MW§. The Ohufe play-reading circle held its weekly meeting in the schoolroom oil Monday evening. The play wag “The Great BrOScopp” by A. A. Milne, Misu Jeaft Turtibull read the stage directions and the parts Were taken as folldw:— Bfexopp, Mr. Marshall; Miss Broxopp, Mrs. Marshall; Jack, Mr. Greet; Lbftl Tenterden, the Rev. Mt. The first dance of the seaibn Was hold on Friday Evening, when the furohe Cricket Club supervised a dance in Mr.. W. woolshed. Them wa§ a good attendance, including Visitors from Matiete, Niho Niho ahd Ohufa, Mr. Bvll, Niho Niho, provided the music and Miss Peggy McAvady, Matiere, played piaiidferte extras, afld Mt. Pat Field, Niho Niho, played the mouth-argan. Two competitions resulted: Otte (a dinner prepared and presented by Mrs. F. Juliah) being won by MisS Jean Fulcher, and the other (a live rooster, presented by Mr. P. Goldfinch) by Mr. D. CoynO. A. Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss M. Douggan afld Mr, P. Green, a spbt Waltz by Miss B. Pamment and Mt. P. Goldfinch, a chair Waltz by Miss C. Fulcher and Mr. W. Fulcher, and a statue waltz by Miss Merl MacCiure and Mr. J. Morgan. ~ Mr. Madßea, Stratford contributed a Scottish tap dance and was applauded. Those present included Mesdam&s Ful-' cher (figured frock), T. Bell (navy twOed), B. DoUghtery (Brown marocain), U.
