CRICKET MATCH AT BLENHEIM. ' BATSMEN NO CHANCE AT ALL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Blenheim, March 29.. Remarkable bowling feats characterised a representative cricket match between Marlborough and the Wairarapa tourists on a wicket that was a bowler’s paradise. The batsmen had no chance at all, with the result that both sides completed an innings in 3| hours. The match resolved itself into a bowling duel between the rival skippers. G. L. Goodwin (Marlborough) took nine wickets for 35 runs, the visitors being all out for 58. K. C. Montgomery, the Wairarapa captain led the visitors’ attack, capturing five wickets for 12 runs, Marlborough’s innings closing for 66. The match will be resumed on Saturday.
