MEN SENTENCED IN YUGO-SLAVIA.

Three men, Oreb, Hadgoreletz and Begovitch have been sentenced to death for an attempt to assassinate King Alexander on December 22. Oreb revealed that they had been promised £2OOO if they succeeded. A plot to assassinate King Alexander of Yugo-Slavia was frustrated by Zagreb police, who received a warning while the King and Queen were dancing at the King’s 45th birthday ball. Detectives rounded up three men, who drew revolvers and killed one detective and wounded another. Nine arrests were made.
