Hie manager of the Southland Frozen Meat Company received ■ the following cable from Macpherson, Train and Company, London: “Congratulations to Southland and your company on winning the first and second places in the South Island competition in Smithfield. Your superiority over the other districts, including. Canterbury, was very pronounced.”
