MONSOON FLOODS FEARED
NEW DANGER IN STRICKEN BIHAR. ’QUAKE ALTERS LAND LEVELS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Calcutta, March 26. The likelihood of floods during , the. coming monsoon owing to changed land levels due to the earthquake Is now a menace. Thousands are homeless in the stricken area of Bihar, where large rivers changed their courses. It is expected that vast areas, including many towns and villages hitherto free from flooding, will be completely submerged. Meanwhile the Government is building hundreds of boats to maintain touch with ‘ those in the stricken areas when the rains begin in July.
