LUNATIC TOUCHES LIVE WIRE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, March 25. An inmate who escaped from the Heworth Women’s Mental Hospital climbed an electric power pylon and touched a live wire. She was sent to hospital in a serious condition. The automatic stoppage of the current affected the whole of York, bringing trams to a standstill for an hour.
