STRAY FOX LASSOED
CIRCUS TO FOWLYARD. A woman living, at Ashfield, Sydney, had her attention attracted by the excited cackling of her fowls. She found a large fox herding the fowls into a comer. . She telephoned the police, and a detective arrived in a few minutes. After considerable manoeuvring the fox was lassoed with a cord and dragged from the fowlhouse. It was taken to the police station, where it was tied in a corner while it. was decided what was to be done with it. The problem was solved when a fox was reported missing from a travelling circus.
