FRIENDLY BOWLING GAME
AWAKING DEFEATS PARITUTU. Two teams from the Awakino Bowling Club defeated Paritutu by 5 points in the week-end.
BOWLS ON THURSDAY. AVON TO PLAY STRATFORD. As the Avon green will be in use for the central division singles championship competition a friendly match will be played with the Stratford club on the Stratford green to-morrow. Avon teams will be chosen from Hale, Walsh, Ingram, Hargreaves, Weston, Carryer, Boyce, Skuse, Lonsdale, Cook, Mills, Soundy, Casey, Adams, Moss, Borland, Mclnnes, Newland, Hill, Pennington, Rudkin, Rowe, Clemow, Guthrie, Kelly, Dwyer, Carter, Summers and Ansley. -Stratford teams will be chosen on- the green.' SINGLES BOWLING CHAMPIONS. The singles champions of the five Central Taranaki clubs will meet to-mor-row, it has been decided, at the Avon green at 9 a.m. to contest the singles championship of the division.
