TERRIFIC BUSH FIRES
HEAT WAVE IN VICTORIA. SOUTH AUSTRALIA SWELTERS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10 p.m. Melbourne, Feb. 9. Terrific bush fires are raging in various parts of Victoria, particularly in the beech forest in the west, where dozens of outbreaks are endangering mills and houses. Every available man is out fighting the flames. p A heat-wave is again being experienced in Victoria and South Australia. The temperature at Melbourne to-day was 107 degrees and at Adelaide 109 degrees.
