Watt, accompanied by Miss Nancy Watt, left on Monday for Hamilton. Miss Nancy Watt will attend the Waikato Diocesan School at Hamilton.

A picnic organised by the Opunake Girl Guides was held on the beach on Saturday last. Visiting guides were present from Otakeho, Normanby and Hawera, and others present were Mesdames Houston, Lovell, Buist, MisseS C. and E. Free (Hawera) and Mesdames Nicholls and Corkill (Otakeho).
