Miss M. Cosgrave is spending a holiday at Wanganui.
Mrs. Vine and Miss C. Vine have returned from the Kaupokonui beach. Miss C. Duncan is spending a holiday at Ngamotu beach, New Plymouth. Mrs. Hilles and Miss G. Hilles, who spent a few days at Wellington, have returned home.
Mrs. Scott and family, Kaponga, who spent the holidays at the Kaupokonui beach, have returned home. Mrs. McCullough and Mrs. Anderson, Kaponga, have returned from the beach, where they were camping. Misses K. Patterson, K. Lilley and P. Yorke have commenced teaching at the Manaia school. Mrs. Instone, Miss Margaret Instone and Mrs. Gamer, Manaia, and Mrs. Watt and daughter, Opunake, are on a motor tour to Hamilton. Manaia visitors to the Hawera races were Mesdames McKay, A. J. Christie, Garner and Bashford, Misses K. Long, C. Vine, M. Burke, K. Burke, D. McKay, V. Mourie, M. Ryan and M. Glengarry.
