TARANAKI A. AND P. SHOW.

Prize lists for the above show to take place at New Plymouth on March 7 and 8 have been widely circulated among likely exhibitors, and any person who has not yet received a copy and is interested in the wide range of classes provided for cattle, sheep, pigs and horses, of all kinds and. breeds, is asked to get one from his nearest district A. and P. Association office or direct from the secretary (Mr. W. P. Okey), Box 18, New Plymouth. Classes are also provided tor numerous ring events such as . trotting races, leaping, riding, driving, pig-stick-ing on horse-back, sheep dog trials, etc. Competitors in the recent Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs calf-rearing competitions are also catered for in special classes for all the different breeds and the open classes as well. In view of the visit of their Excellencies Lord and Lady Bledisloe to the show, the committee is most anxious to assemble together the best exhibition of stock the district can provide, and so would appreciate the co-operation of all breeders in this direction. The committee is busy finalising their arrangements for the comfort and convenience of exhibitors and their stock. An abundance of green feed and grass will be available this year, and 20 additional covered-in horse stalls are now being erected. As entries will close on February 23 it is now necessary for intending exhibitors to concentrate on this important fixture.
