OPOSSUM DEALING CHARGES

COURT DISMISSES INFORMATIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Jan. 26. Alfred Allan Campbell, skin buyer, faced a list of ten charges of forgery and uttering in the Balclutha Police Court yesterday. The charges arose from Campbell’s alleged dealings with opossum trappers in South Otago last season, and after 12 witnesses had been heard, the informations were dismissed by the Magistrate, Mr. H. J. Dixon. Campbell was, however, fined on three separate charges of breaches of the regulations with regard to the sale of opossum skins.'
