SERVICE GIVEN SCIENCE
PRAISE TO T. H. EASTERFIELD. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Jan. 27. The annual conference of the New Zealand section of the Institute of Chemistry of Great Britain and Ireland passed the following resolution:—That this meeting desires to place on record its appreciation of the great value to the association of the work of Professor T H. Easterfield with the New Zealand section of the Institute of Chemistry of Great Britain and Ireland since its inception. It congratulates him on his splendid record of service to science generally in New Zealand and wishes him a prosperous, journey to England and on his return a long period of quiet enjoyment in his retirement.
