DENSEST FOG OF WINTER
CONFUSION AMONGST TRAFFIC. FOUR FATALITIES IN J3RITAIN. British Official Wireless, Rec. 5.5 pan. Rugby, Jan. 25. All traces of yesterday’s fog, which is officially described as the worst this winter, disappeared during the night. Confusion occurred ori some suburban railways. The fog was so dense in the south-western suburban area, that a driver found it necessary to climb a signal post to see what the signal indicated. On the roads there were many crashes. Four persons were reported killed and scores received injuries.
