HIMATANGI ASSAULT SEQUEL
PALMERSTON NORTH CASE HEARD.
MAN COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE.

Palmerston N., Last Night.
A further sequel to the incident at Himatangi in July last when an elderly storekeeper named Sorensen, aged 83, was assaulted by two young men was heard in the Magistrate’s Court when lan Hector Archibald Donald McDonald, aged 28, a labourer, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault with intent to rob. He was committed for sentence by the Supreme Court.
