ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIPS.
EVENTS AT ELTHAM TO-DAY.. The athletic championships of the Taranaki sub-centre will be held at Taumata Park, Eltham, to-day. The track is situated amidst picturesque surroundings and there is every inducement for visitors to make a picnic day. The events, commencing at 2 o’clock in the. afternoon and 8 o’clock in the evening, include running, walking, cycling and field events and the best of Taranaki’s athletes wiu be seen in action.
