RELIEF STRIKE CONTINUES
750 MEN AFFECTED AT GISBORNE. REGULAR FOOD DISTRIBUTION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, Jan. 15. The relief workers’ strike entered upon its second week to-day with about 750 men affected at Gisborne and the suburban areas. A regular distribution of food has been arranged for and a sufficient amount of money is declared to be in the hands of the strike committee to ensure the relief of actual distress for a week or two.
