WOOL MARKET STILL STRONG

REPORT RECEIVED FROM EUROPE. QUANTITY COMPARATIVELY LIGHT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Jan. 14. Mr. W. P. Devereux, representative of the Australian Woolgrowers’ Council, reports that all wool markets in Europe continue strong and active. The quantity available for the London sales is comparatively light and an advance of 15 to 20 per cent is expected. Bradford tops advanced substantially owing to the buoyancy of the primary markets, but the prices are still below those of the relative raw material.
