TOURISTS MAKE 294 FOR FOUR. LOCAL MEN ALL OUT FOR 219. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 7 p.m. Bombay, Dec. 16. India made 219 in the first innings of the test cricket match and M.C.C. replied with 294 for the loss of four wickets. Nayudu won the toss yesterday and decided to bat. The attendance was 40,000. India had lost five wickets'for 170 at tea and nine for 212 at stumps. This morning the last wicket fell for the addition of seven runs. Scores are:— INDIA.
