WAITAKI FREEZING WORKS
DIVIDEND AND BONUS PAID.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Oamaru, Last Night.
At the annual meeting of the Waitaki Farmers’ Freezing Company yesterday the chairman, Mr. J. E. Austin, in his address said the profit after the deduction of depreciation and income tax was £4781, enabling the company to pay a dividend of 3 per cent, and a bonus of 2 per cent., with £305 carried forward. A comparison of the present output with that of 10 years ago showed it had doubled. It was 192,470 then, against 388,419 in the past year. The chain system had enabled the works to handle a larger daily killing. The retiring directors, Messrs J. P. McCullough, R. Hamilton and R. W. Trotter were re-elected.
