MARSLAND SCHOOL BREAK-UP
CEREMONY AT NEW PLYMOUTH.
The breaking-up ceremony of Marsland private school took place on Thursday at St. Mary’s hall, New Plymouth. There was a good attendance. The Rev. Whitlock officiated, and commended the school on the good display of hand-work shown. The writing and drawing was of merit. Mrs. Stafford read her report, after which the children contributed a programme of songs, recitations and dances. A dialogue, “The Tinker,” and playette “Little Red Riding Hood” caused amuserr&w- The distribution of prizes brought the afternoon to a close.
