WANGANUI TRAMWAY SHEDS
£3 CASH TAKEN FROM MOTORMAN.
ROBBER ESCAPES IN DARKNESS.
(Press Association—Extraordinary.) Wanganui, This Morning.
A masked man armed with a revolver held up a motorman in the Wanganui corporation tramways shed last night and escaped with £3 in cash. Only two men were on the premises at the time, the motorman and the nightwatchman. The latter had just left the office and was away in the tramway barn when the hold-up occurred.
