UNAUTHORISED ELECTION. “NO WISH TO JOIN.” In connection with his election to the executive committee of the Dairy Producers’ Free-Marketing Association of New Zealand, to be incorporated, Mr. A. H. Hansen, who is chairman of directors of the Tamaki Dairy Co., Ltd., states that such election was without his knowledge and consent, and that he does not wish to be connected with the association. Mr. Hansen says that he was instructed by his directors to attend the meeting, which was called for the purpose of ob - jecting to the new regulations proposed by the Dairy Board. On the Thursday morning he had attended, and had stressed the need for unity, but he had been absent when the meeting had resumed in the afternoon, during which/time he had been elected to the executive committee of the newly-formed body. Mr. F'.nsen states that he is not a supporter of the association, his view being that the Dairy Board is sufficient in itself, and, moreover, the subscription fixed was compartively large.
