MR. WILLIAM RHODES MOORHOUSE KNOWN AS “FLYING ETONIAN.” By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Oct. 18. Mr. William Rhodes Moorhouse, inheritor of the Rhodes estate in New Zealand, resides with is mother at Knightsbridge. He is called the “Flying Etonian” because he won. his pilot’s certificate in 1931 when an Eton boy of 17. He flew solo after 7J hours in the air with dual control and did 800 hour, before he was 18 in a machine belonging to his mother. He is also the holder of a pilot’s certificate with which he flew all over England r.nd Wales.
