The Hauturu, which arrived at New Plymouth on Wednesday from Onehunga with 160 tons of general cargo for discharge, sailed yesterday for Wanganui. CITY OF SINGAPORE SAILS. The City of Singapore, which arrived at New Plymouth on Wednesday from Wellington, yesterday completed discharge of 1100 tons of sulphur and 50 tons of general American cargo, and sailed in the afternoon for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australian ports. TAMAROA DUE TO-MORROW. The Tamaroa left Auckland yesterday afternoon, for New Plymouth to continue her homeward loading, and is due on Saturday. At New Plymouth she is to load 12,000 boxes of butter and 7000 prates of cheese before sailing on Tuesday tor Wellington, Napier, Gisborne and Auckland to complete. THE PORT ALMA. The motor-ship Port Alma arrived at Wellington from New Plymouth yesterday to continue loading, and she is to sail to-day for Napier, Gisborne and Auckland to complete her cargo. The vessel is scheduled to reach Auckland on November 26 and to sail for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain on October 31PORT NICHOLSON TO LOAD. The Port Nicholson has reported that she left Port Kembla at noon on Tuesday for Wanganui, where she is due on Monday to commence her New Zealand loading itinerary. From there she will proceed to New Plymouth and Auckland, being due at New Plymouth on Thursday, but the remainder of her ports have not yef been fixed. She is to clear Wellington for London, via Montevideo, on November 10. COPTIC AT WELLINGTON. After unloading cargo from London at .South Island ports, the motor-ship Coptic is due at Wellington from Timaru today to replenish her bunkers. On Saturday she is to sail for Sydney and other Australian ports to load for Great Britain. THE TUSCAN STAR. The Blue Star Line motor-ship Tuscan .Star left London for New Zealand last Friday to load for Great Britain. She is due about November 18 and will be the first of the company’s steamers to load in New Zealand under tlie new loading agreement. She is a vessel of 11,449 tons and was built at Neweastle-on-Tyne in 1930. BLUE STAR LINE’S PLANS. London, Oct. 18. The Australian Press Association learns that the Blut Star Line will enter the Australian trade in October, 1934. Details have not been settled, but it will not mean any increase in tonnage on berth, as the Blue Star liners will replace other companies’ steamers now in the trade. Special arrangements will be made to carry chilled beef.
