RAID ON THE FRONTIER. BRUTAL BROWN SHIRTS. London, September 24. The Swiss Government has arrested a Swiss official at Thun arsenal, near Berne, says the Basle correspondent of the Times. The official confessed to having delivered secret military documents to two neighbouring Powers. ' Ten armed Brown Shirts trespassed on the Swiss frontier and mobbed the Swiss guard in order to arrest a party of six German tourists who were arguing with a German Customs officer about a confiscated car on which an unknown person had smeared revolutionary slogans. The Swiss guard threatened to fire on the Brown Shirts. The latter overwhelmed him and arrested the tourists. A German motor-cyclist intervened and protested against the Brown Shirt’s brutality.
