BOXING AT WAIPUKURAU
GRIFFIN DEFEATS DONKIN. --By Telegraph—Press Association. Waipukurau, Oct. 13. In a boxing match at Waipukurau last night Harry Donkin (Havelock North), a former provincial amateur representative, fought his first professional bout, being defeated on points in a close 10rounds contest by Jim Griffin (Takapau) Donkin will meet Clarrie Raynor at Blenheim next week.
