ALTON-KAKARAMEA NOTES
CARDS AND DANCING. There was a good attendance of members and visitors at the Alton hall last evening when the Alton-Kakaramea branch of the Women’s Division, gave a successful flag five hundred evening, followed by a dance. The winners were Misses Bourke and Fowler and Messrs. Corbett and Garnet. The work basket was won by Mrs. Watt, Tutaturu. The dance music was played by Miss Hamblyn, and extras were given by Miss Sutherland. Mr. Laurie Hunt was master of ceremonies.
