35,000 CHINESE TROOPS.
JAPANESE WILL RETALIATE.

The latest Peking message indicates that, according to Chinese sources, approximately 35,000 Chinese troops are advancing towards Peking. Yang Chen Wu’s rabble, augmented by roving bandits, occupied the town of Niulanshan, 35 miles from the city. The Japanese are preparing to advance when the ultimatum expires. Fang Chen Wu plans to attack Peking while the bandits devote their attention to Tientsin. .. ' ••
