INJURED PASSENGER’S DEATH

Blenheim, Sept. 25.

Mr. E. Y. Maindonald, motor garage proprietor, Reef ton, who with Mr. B. Cummings was injured in an aeroplane crash at Blenheim yesterday, died in hospital this morning. An inquest was opened this morning and adjourned sine die to await Mr. Cummings’ evidence. Mr. Maindonald, who was 29 years of age was well well-known in Reefton district. He leaves a widow and three children, the eldest five and the youngest 11 months. Mr. Cummings, a motor driver, resided at Ikamatua Hotel, Ikamatua, near Reefton.
