EXTREMELY SERIOUS
LORD GREY’S CONDITION. SYMPATHY OF KING AND QUEEN. British Wireless. Rugby, Aug. 31. Hopes were encouraged by a more favourable bulletin regarding the condition of Lord Grey, but there was disappointment later to-day when his condition became less satisfactory and there was a diminution in strength to-night. It is stated that his condition was extremely serious and it is understood that he is in a state of coma and unable to recognise those attending him. Among the messages of sympathy was one from the King and Queen at Balmoral.
