MT. COOK SKI RUNNING TITLE. MOST DIFFICULT COURSE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Timaru, Sept. 1. The New Zealand ski running title was won at the championship meeting at Mount Cook by H. H. Elworthy. The course was the most difficult ever »run in the South Island. Results: — Slalom championship: Elworthy (T.S.C.) 1, A. Wigley (T.S.C.) 2, L. K. Murray (T.S.C.) 3. Women’s championship: Mrs. Edwards (C.S.C.) 1, Miss J. Beale (Stratfod Mountain Club) 2, Mrs. H. Richards (Windwhistle Club) 3.
