OPERATION ON WRESTLER
PEREIRA REPLACES PATTERSON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, Sept. 1. Jack Patterson, professional wrestler, arrived last night for a contest to-night with Hank Oswald. He underwent a minor operation for a head injury infection to-day and is unable to appear against Oswald. The Gisborne association arranged a substitute, Pereira, who will fly from Wellington and meet Oswald to-night.
